The Dallas performance of Sting featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, previously scheduled for June 26th, has been cancelled. Unfortunately, we will be unable to reschedule this show. We apologize for the inconvenience.
New dates in Canada (London, Toronto and Ottawa), in addition to the nine US shows announced March 9th (see below grid), will be available for presale to Fan Club members tomorrow, Wednesday, March 17. The six newly announced US dates - shows in West Palm Beach, Tampa, Bristow, Detroit, Cincinnati, and Saratoga - will be available for presale to Fan Club members beginning next Wednesday, March 24...
If the story is to be believed, there's some schadenfreude to be found in a tale that Sting tells about being booed the first time he performed at an opera house. It was in 1987, as Sting recounted recently, that he stepped onstage to sing 'The Ballad of Mack the Knife' with the Hamburg State Orchestra, and he noticed "a group of people, all with blue and gray hair, and jewels and fur," who were jeering him before he'd opened his mouth...
Unfortunately, ticket sales for the Dallas performance of Sting featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra previously planned for June 26 have been suspended due to a potential scheduling conflict.
