To accompany Sting's world tour, Deutsche Grammophon/CherryTree Records, recently released a live CD/DVD, 'Live in Berlin'. This exclusive collection features previously unreleased material and many of his greatest hits, such as 'Roxanne', 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic', 'King Of Pain', 'Fields Of Gold', and more, all re-imagined for symphonic arrangement. Featuring special guest Branford Marsalis on select tracks, this live concert experience is quintessential Symphonicity.
Deutsche Grammophon/CherryTree Records also released a companion studio album last summer, 'Symphonicities', to critical acclaim. Highlights include fan-favourites culled from The Police songbook such as 'Roxanne' and 'Next To You', as well as songs from Sting's solo career including 'Englishman In New York', 'I Burn for You', 'Why Should I Cry for You' and 'She's Too Good For Me', among many others.
In addition to the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional, Sting will also be joined in Lima by a group of accomplished musicians comprised of Dominic Miller (Sting's longtime guitarist), Rhani Krija (Sting's longtime multi-genre percussionist), David Cossin (a multi-percussion specialist in new and experimental music and featured member of the Bang on a Can All-Stars), Jo Lawry (vocalist) and Ira Coleman (bassist).

Tuscan Paradise - For Sting and Trudie Styler, landscape designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd plants a heavenly garden near Florence. Great gardens are made, not born, and usually with protracted effort - vast quantities of earth are moved here and there and back again, mature trees are arranged with the help of forklifts, hills are bulldozed into terraces, and, occasionally, rocky outcrops are blasted into submission with strategically placed explosives. By some point in the creative process, the land seems so distressed that the dream it represents to the landscape architect can look like a nightmare to the homeowners...
When Sting originally announced that he was going to tour with a full fifty piece orchestra and perform his best known songs we were a little sceptical. How could that possibly work? Well, five months in, it is apparent just how wrong we were to harbour any doubts. The "Symphonicity" shows have been spectacular successes since the tour launched in Vancouver earlier this year and have since garnered glowing accolades in the media. When we were able to attend several of the shows, we were totally blown away by the whole experience and quickly realised how short-sighted our initial scepticism had been.

The winners of the tickets to see Sting on "Che Tempo Che Fa" in Milan on 19 December were: Angela Romano, Claudio Garavaglia, Gaia Scalvedi, Luigi Guastella, Marc Arens, Maurizio Saccani, Roberto Pezza, Tioli Elisa, Valerio Marani and Vania Murasso. They were the first ten names drawn who had correctly answered that Sting performed at the Teatro Arcimboldi in Milan on the Symphonicity tour. Thanks to everyone that entered!
