Moments of humbling magic from The Odd Couple...

Simon and Sting’s contrasting voices and banter perfectly complement each other as they dip into each other’s songbooks in a curious but inspired union. At first glance, the Paul Simon and Sting On Stage Together tour is reminiscent of those bizarrely unlikely 1960s package tours where Jimi Hendrix would appear on the same bill as Engelbert Humperdinck...

Sting and Paul Simon at the Genting Arena - legendary duo delighted a devoted audience...

Hearing Paul Simon and Sting perform a host of classic Simon and Garfunkel hits is probably as close as most people are ever going to get to a reunion gig by the legendary duo. They might seem unlikely bedfellows but both were the driving creative forces in the acts which saw them first hit the big time

Paul Simon & Sting at SSE Hydro, Glasgow...

They are an odd couple, Paul Simon and Sting, and yet they are not. Certainly when they first walked out onstage at the beginning of this marathon three-hour gig, the physical differences made them reminiscent of a buddy comedy film. Sting, taller, more overtly confident and possessing a beard that suggested he's become a survivalist, Simon, hat on and more awkward

Sting and Paul Simon in concert is a truly special night in the company of legends...

Both are still of fine voice, Sting effortlessly still hits the high register. Last night the Odyssey hosted a rather unusual coupling of music royalty, one, part of a superstar duo of the New York folk scene, the other a founder of one of the biggest bands of all time, both with solo careers that equal their founding music lives. After all, with their respective back catalogues, there is probably a Sting or Simon composition playing on a radio station somewhere in the world

Paul Simon & Sting, Dublin 3 Arena, review: back-slapping bonhomie in alarming evidence...

'This oddest of odd couples were unable to keep their eyes off one another musically speaking', says Ed Power. Sting and Paul Simon have spent the past 30 years traveling in opposing directions. The tall-haired Englishman started as vaguely credible punk rocker only to become a byword for trantric sex-championing silliness. Simon, meanwhile, has devoted the later stages of his career to escaping his initial pigeonholing as featherweight folkie via a series of smart, progressive albums of which 1986's Graceland remains the most lauded.

Paul Simon & Sting - On Stage Together: Krakow & Prague now cancelled due to Illness...

It is with great regret that Live Nation confirmed today that the Paul Simon & Sting On Stage Together concerts previously scheduled for this Friday, March 13th at Krakow Arena and Saturday, March 14th at The O2 Arena in Prague have now been cancelled. As reported earlier this week, after being diagnosed with the flu and a high fever, under doctor's orders, Sting was forced to cancel these performances while he recovers at home in New York City. While attempts were made over the last 2 days to reschedule these events, unfortunately due to existing artist commitments and routing conflicts the promoters were unable to do so. Both artists deeply regret disappointing or causing any inconvenience to their fans...

Paul Simon, Sting perform together at Sir James Mitchell Park...

It was a night of miracle and wonder as two of the world's top artists shared a stage under the stars in a concert that often soared to magical levels. A sell-out audience paid up to $500 a ticket to see Paul Simon and Sting perform their - and each others - enduring songs at Sir James Mitchell Park. Early in the set the mutual respect between the pair was obvious as they launched into two of their timeless classics, sharing lyrics and bouncing off each other during Simon's Boy In The Bubble and Sting’s moving Fields of Gold. But it was their interpretations of each other’s songs that made the night so memorable, first with Simon's take on Fragile, followed by Sting (aka an Englishman in South Perth) returning the favour on America. Hearing two of the most iconic voices of the past half century reimagining each other's work made for a inspired partnership...
