The Last Ship in Liverpool - wow!
Magnificent. A real triumph. I've just returned from seeing The Last Ship at the Liverpool Playhouse. It was a thoroughly entertaining show - great music (obviously), great story, cast - and that set was bloody brilliant! I knew a lot of the songs from the album of the same name and I was pleased that there were a couple of additions (and saddened that a couple had been taken out). A huge success - congratulations to everyone involved!

But its popularity with audiences was well deserved, and if there’s any justice it will be replicated around the rest of the country, as it certainly was here in Liverpool last night. This is a stupendous show...
