The Last Ship Receives Two Nominations in 2018 UK Theatre Awards...

The Last Ship has received two nominations in the 2018 UK Theatre Awards for Best Touring Production and Best Performance in a Musical for Frances McNamee. The UK Theatre Awards are the only nationwide Awards to honour and celebrate outstanding achievements in regional theatre throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. This year’s UK Theatre Awards will take place at London’s historic Guildhall, on Sunday 14 October 2018.

Sting will star in the Canadian premiere of his critically acclaimed musical The Last Ship. Presented by David Mirvish and produced by Karl Sydow and Kathryn Schenker, the limited six-week engagement runs February 9 through March 24, 2019 at Toronto’s Princess of Wales Theatre. This new production of The Last Ship, which has music and lyrics by Sting, has just finished a critically acclaimed 12-week UK & Ireland tour, which followed a sell-out run at Newcastle’s Northern Stage...

The Last Ship docks at The Lowry to ace reviews...

In what has seemed like the blink of an eye, The Last Ship has arrived in Manchester, the final destination of its UK voyage, where it docks at The Lowry until Saturday 7 July. The reviews from Tuesday's opening night in the city have been extremely positive as they have been since the play opened in Newcastle in March. Some tickets remain available here
