Sting, Audience in Perfect Synchronicity...

Sting has great affection for the city of Boston and its music fans. The Police’s U.S. success really started here, with early 1978 gigs at the long-gone and much missed Rat and the support shown by the DJs at WBCN and other rock-and-roll stations. Saturday night, at a chilly Blue Hills Bank Pavilion, Sting heated up a capacity crowd with a sizzling two-hour show that touched on all stages of his career. Sting rocks Tanglewood in Lenox...

Sting brought his "57th and 9th" tour to the shed at Tanglewood on Tuesday night, performing a two-hour, double-encore set of hits from both his work with The Police and his solo career. Sting and J. Ralph To Be Honored At The Smithsonian For Their Contributions to American Music...

On Sept. 8, the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History will acquire donations from both artists for their contributions to American music, including their Oscar-nominated song, “The Empty Chair,” from the documentary Jim: The James Foley Story about the American photojournalist who was captured and killed in Syria. Sting, a 16-time Grammy winner, and Ralph, a triple-Oscar nominee, will join Dan Rather for a discussion, followed by performances from Sting and the world premiere of Ralph’s new symphonic piece, “Evolocean"...

The Florida Orchestra to feature Sting at 50th anniversary gala concert...

Going all out for its 50th anniversary, The Florida Orchestra will feature a performance by world-renowned musician Sting at its gala concert on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the Mahaffey Theater, under the baton of Music Director Michael Francis. This European leg of the 57th & 9th World Tour has come to an end...

This European leg of the 57th & 9th World Tour has come to an end with two fantastic shows in Colmar, France and Uelzen, Germany. Thank you to my wonderful musicians, crew and very lovely audiences. The tour returns to Europe in September after more US dates beginning on August 29th at Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, Massachussets. Due to popular demand, lawn tickets are now available for Sting’s 57th & 9th concert with special guests The Last Bandoleros as well as Joe Sumner on August 30th at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.  Lawn tickets are priced at $29.50 plus fees. On the guitar-driven 57th & 9th Tour, Sting is joined by a 3-piece band including his longtime guitarist, Dominic Miller, plus Josh Freese (drums) and Rufus Miller (guitar) with backing vocals from Diego Navaira & Jerry Fuentes of The Last Bandoleros and Joe Sumner...
