BBC4's Police and Sting feast coming up on 3 February...

Those in the UK have a great night's entertainment to look forward to on 3 February with an evening of shows dedicated to The Police and Sting. Beginning at 9pm with a screening of The Police on 'Rock Goes To College' (their 1979 performance from Hatfield Polytechnic) it is followed by screenings of Stewart Copeland's 'Guitar, Drum and Bass', The Old Grey Whistle Test's 'Police In The East', Stewart Copeland's 'Adventures in Music' and Sting's 'Reel Stories'. Earlier in the evening at 7.30 Sting also appears on an Episode of 'Top of the Pops' from February 1994 performing 'Nothing 'Bout Me'.

It is a brilliant and emotional intervie
This was a truly remarkable interview with Dermot O’Leary!
Fabulous music history of course but also very personal and emotional for Sting!
To see his mother and grandmother in old clips was even for the viewer’s emotional and understandably very emotional for Sting!! What a man! He indeed noted that many his his compatriots have passed away like the fabulous George Michael so let’s enjoy and treasure Sting for many many more years! In Egyptian times he would have been seen as a God!!
A great interview from a truly great Giant of music!!
