Most memorable concert: There are so many memorable concerts... if I had to pick 3 they would be: Nothing Like the Sun, Chapel Hill, NC Jan. 28, 1988 the day I met my true love; The Police Reunion Tour, Giant's Stadium, the day we met The Police; and Back to Bass, Chastain Park, Atlanta June, 2012, the first family front row concert!

Other favourite bands: Are there any other bands?

In your own words: My story begins in Chapel Hill, NC January 28, 1988... the most important night of my life. Sting was performing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Friends came together for the concert and I met the love of my life! Our history with Sting and The Police precedes even our long romance. My first concert was Synchronicity at the Capital Center... Jim saw the concert in Greensboro, NC. We have seen every concert since then... first separately then together. The night we met was against all odds. He thought I was with his friend and was off limits but it was love at first sight. From that week on in 1988 we have been together. We celebrate our 22nd anniversary this August and can seriously say that Sting brought us together. The story continues as we now have two children... a son and a daughter... who are avid Sting and Police fans. We travel with them to concerts and have even been lucky enough to be front row for several shows. Our kids love and know every song! It's such a great tie that binds us. We can't wait for the show in NYC this October as, once again, we will travel to see Sting at his finest. Who knew that a concert in college so long ago could form the Shape of My Heart.

Sting and Paul Simon kicked off their 21 city "On Stage Together" tour at the Toyota Center Saturday night with a nearly sold out and definitely 40-years-old plus audience. Billed as a once in a lifetime collaboration, these longtime icons, who have been neighbors in the same New York apartment building for the last 25 years, first teamed together last year for a charity benefit and received such a warm reception that they started discussing a collaboration...

Ten years age, a large ocean and about 12 inches of height separated Paul Simon and Sting when the two took the stage at the Toyota Center for the first date of a curious joint tour. If their size seems a petty observation, their respective appearances did reflect their performances in a way. Sting's clingy shirt left him a mask and insignia away from looking like a superhero. Fittingly his band served up dramatic solos meant to highlight individual virtuosity. Simon's drab, unbuttoned button-down gave him the appearance of a man trying to beat the crowd at the oil change place. Simon's group relied more on interactive and understated groove, with players frequently swapping instruments: the drummer on guitar, the guitarist on sax, the bassist on percussion. Yet players from each band - including the two singers - mingled throughout the two-and-a-half hour show, often to intriguing effect...
