Sting enchants the Pula crowd...

Five thousand spectators attended the concert by the legendary Police frontman at the Forte Arena of the Forte Village Resort.

From "Fields of Gold" to "Shape of My Heart" to "Roxanne," including "If You Love Somebody Set Them Free," "Englishman in New York," "If It's Love," and "Deserte Rose," Sting closed his concert with a flourish with a guitar solo, under the stars of the Santa Margherita di Pula sky, to the rhythm of the wonderful "Fragile."

The legendary Police frontman thrilled with his band at the Forte Arena of the Forte Village Resort, where, for the second time since 2019, he performed before an audience of 5,000 fans. After the resounding success of the December 11, 2023, concert at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago (Milan), the world tour, which has touched the most important stages in major European, US, and South American cities, stopped in Sardinia for its only Italian date.

The British artist, born in 1951, returns to Italy with his Sting 2024 World Tour, which opened in late January at the iconic Lollapalooza India in Mumbai. By his own admission, Italy is one of the artist's most beloved destinations, and he has never hidden his great love for the Bel Paese. A love that led him to be awarded the title of honorary citizen of Figline e Incisa Valdarno, a municipality nestled in the rolling Chianti hills, south of Florence, home to the 16th-century Il Palagio estate, a residence purchased in 1997 and surrounded by olive groves, organically managed orchards, and white and red grape vineyards, among which Sangiovese stands out, the true prince of these lands, where the singer-songwriter loves to retreat to find a bit of peace and privacy during breaks between tours, taking care, among other things, with his wife Trudie Styler, of the production of renowned wines, whose names are often inspired by his musical career (among the most beloved are "Message in a Bottle", "Message in a Bottle" white and "When We Dance").

The night of August 3, 2024, will be remembered as one of the most emotional for Sting fans. The legendary British artist stopped at the Forte Arena in Santa Margherita di Pula, in the province of Cagliari, for the only Italian date of his world tour. The evening, which drew approximately 5,000 spectators, was a triumph of music and emotion, uniting three generations under the Sardinian stars. Sting, accompanied by guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, treated the audience to an unforgettable performance, retracing the highlights of his career. The setlist included some of his most iconic songs, such as "Message in a Bottle," "Every Breath You Take," and "Roxanne," which drew standing ovations and tears from the audience.

His ability to effortlessly transition from rock to pop, from reggae to jazz, once again demonstrated his extraordinary artistic versatility. During the performance of "Every Breath You Take," Sting brought the audience closer to the stage, creating an intimate and engaging atmosphere. "We're so happy to be in Sardinia," he said in a perfect blend of English and Italian, demonstrating a perfect connection with his musicians. The event, held in the enchanting, star-studded Forte Arena theater, was a major draw for local tourism, attracting music fans from across Italy and beyond. The venue, with its perfect acoustics and starry sky, helped make the evening even more special.

Sting's career, which began with The Police and continued with a brilliant solo career, continues to surprise and enchant audiences around the world. His 2024 world tour, which began in Mumbai and is set to visit major European and North American cities, confirms his inexhaustible energy and passion for music.
