Sting @ Constitution Hall
My husband and I have been listening to Sting's music since we started dating in 1983, I feel like his songs have narrated our life together. Sting's performance is like a fine wine that only gets better with time, yet he keeps it new and exciting- WOW! I loved his book- Broken Music- so it was like he was sitting at our kitchen table when he told stories about his life and music between songs. We want to have him and Trudie over for dinner! What a gift to be serenaded by Sting as we danced to our favorite songs. BEST CONCERT EVER- we danced & sang & laughed & cried & have been on cloud 9 all weekend. Thank you Sting!

Still got the juice, sacre bleu!
Overall this was a very smooth and theatric show. 3 generations were part of this amazing show which demonstrates his gift for writing timeless melodies and songs. He took us back to his 25 years of his personal dissecting of musicology with his witty storytelling in between each song which made it real special! However, He probably should re-orchestrate Desert Rain and Message in the Bottle and leave out some songs like Hung my Head (my thought). I love his approach on breaking boundaries of genres and he did just that last night. Stolen car, Ghost story, Every breath you take, and Hounds of Winter were phenomenal. I was in the 2nd row and again wish I could have met the man, but oh well! Chatted a bit with Dominic Miller... very nice guy and very talented! His son prob needs a bit of brushing up -he did not seen like he fit. The violinist also is phenomenal! Standing ovations for his solos.
