SUMMONER'S TALES...
"I Burn For You was written in 1975 in my classroom during a maths lesson. I was in a band that had a weekly residency in a pub in Newcastle. The same people would come every week, so the demand for new songs was acute and the only available time to write was after I'd set my pupils long tests which kept them quiet and allowed me the relative solitude I needed to cobble together lines and music."
During his time in Amsterdam, ARTE captured Sting's breathtaking performance at the Rijksmuseum, creating a stunning live film that premiered on ARTE's VOD platform on March 5 before broadcasting across the network in Germany and France.
The performance was released on June 26 on CD and vinyl, titled Sting – The Night Watch: Live at the Rijksmuseum. The full performance can be watched here.
