You're wrong
You should know, when Sting visited Russia, he gave an interview with his point of view to Pussy Riot. This action started huge wave of discussion in mass media and society, caused a lot of critics to Sting. Then Madonna, Peter Gabriel and all russian musicians started to discuss it. So, thanks Sting for making us, Russians, better. And thanks for amazing show in Moscow!

Disappointed...
Im more than surprised Sting is playing these shows in Russia. Ive been a major fan for years, but I will lose respect for Sting and wont go to anymore of his shows here in the US if he plays Russia while Pussy Riot is in jail. Sting of the 80's wouldnt have done this. Hard to believe Sting of 2012 would forgo what was right to add a few more rubles to his already expansive bank account.

Sting says, "This has provided me with a wonderful way to be reacquainted with the rich landscape and historical byways of my Tyneside home". While he is full of praise for the efforts of the authors he couldn't resist expressing his disappointment that "the great borough of Wallsend had been inexplicably excised from the authors' selection" and suggested that it was probably worth a separate book of its own! However, the authors were quick to point out that Wallsend featured in two walks in their earlier book, 'Metro Walks', where they mentioned young Sting's family home...
